In a shocking (but not entirely surprising) move, Elon Musk has weighed in on the global transportation problem. The tech billionaire, known for his cryptic tweets and controversial opinions, has proposed a $20 billion tunnel connecting New York and London.

“Traffic is too slow!” Musk tweeted. “We need something faster, more efficient, and less expensive.”

It’s unclear at this point whether Musk’s proposal will be implemented. However, one thing is certain: it has sparked a fierce debate on the issue.

And in a related development, Musk also announced that he is developing a new type of submarine that can travel through tunnels. “It’s called ‘The Boring Submarine,’” Musk tweeted. “And it’s available tomorrow.”
